I decided that I feel like celebrating for the 6th book (Three days! Unless you're going to the party, then it's really 2, but still 3 until the book XD XD) with some Harry Potter art. And then I decided, what if I remade some of my favorite HP art I did awhile back? So that's what I'll be up to for awhile.

This is the first in the... "series", I guess you could call it. The original is one of my more popular drawings on here (and it's not even that popular! God I suck.). I decided to call this one "That Dreaded Kiss" because the title of the first was so boring (it was just "Fleur Kisses Ron"). It's not really "dreaded"... unless you're Hermione. Or a Ron/Hermione shipper. Which I am. So it is dreaded. For me.

Ahem, anyway... there are a lot of things wrong with this, I know...especially Ron's wonky left eye (which actually looks normal on the paper...-__-). And Fleur looks like she's gonna grab Ron's crotch (not that he'd mind or anything...). Clothing and wrinkles are always my weakness, as are side views. Her proportions probably look off compared to Ron, but remember he's supertall and she's supposed to be standing on her tip-toes. So yes... Other than that, I really like this picture. I'm proud of the coloring, too. I haven't done nice coloring in awhile. As I've said before, I'm a shotty colorist, and I probably always will be. Oh well.

I think it's very cute, despite the fact that I too am a HxR shipper. Fluer's right arms seems a little not right, but it's still totally kawaii!^-^ :+favlove:

Ooh yeah, it kinda does. >.< It's kinda supposed to be bent so you can't see it but I think you should be able to see her elbow behind her. I think I'll fix that.

Hrm... now that I've looked at it a little closer, making her elbow visible would give the impression of a very long arm... Ack. Maybe she just has an odd arm.

Aww! Ron is adorable! I love his face!

I didn't notice his eye was off until you mention it, but it's really not bad; if you want to stare at it really hard it almost looks like it's twitching or something, like he's so shocked . . .

About Fleur grabbing for Ron's crotch . . . yes, you have me there, but, well, maybe that's just Fleur being . . . seductive?

I'm sorry; you asked for advanced criticism, but I'm not so good at being critical. I always justify it into something nice, somehow . . .

It is improved over the original. I love doing that; redoing old pictures . . . I should do it more often *ponders.*

Ha, it is indeed "dreaded." Ron/Hermione all the way! . . . though I liked Viktor with Hermione, it can never be . . . and, pssh, Ron and Fleur never WAS, lol . . .

*Gets impatient and does impatient I-need-to-use-the-bathroom sort of dance waiting for Book 6.*

Well if you made like..it lower so it seems not so short, like thats what kinda got me, it's almost a midget arm. cause at that hieght you should be able to see like for lack of a better word a nuggest of her elbow behind her.
