This is in Digital Art because although I did draw it with colored pencils I touched it up in Photoshop, added water, and blurred it a bit.

Even though this is probably one of my best and favorite pictures, I so did not do this couple justice. They're way too cute for their own good. [link]

They are Marco Del Rossi and Dylan Michalchuk from Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Dylan's hair color is wrong... I know... makes me mad too.

The title comes from the song by Will Young. ~rakuyou got me hooked on him and so I downloaded as many songs as I could and put them on a cd. "You and I" happened to be one of them, but as with any cd I normally just listen to the first few songs when I first listen to it.

Two Saturdays ago I was watching Degrassi all night and fell asleep with the TV on... and my headphones on with my cd still going. I woke up at about 4:00 in the morning with a song playing by Will Young. Since it was toward the end of the cd I hadn't really heard it before, and I thought "wait, this song wasn't on the cd, was it?" and since it was so early and I was rather tired, for some reason I thought Marco was singing it at first. The next song was "You and I" and I thought it sounded really pretty, so I listened to it over and over. Eventually it made me think of Marco and Dylan.

Do you ever get where a song reminds you of something and you can picture something in your mind that goes with the song perfectly, and you try to get other people to imagine it because it's so wonderful but they can't picture it the same? Well that's how it was with me and this song. I tried my best with this picture to show what is in my mind when I listen to the song.

You'll probably appreciate this picture more if you have actually seen Degrassi and know who Marco and Dylan are and also have heard the song.
